Music Production in Summer School Print

Once again, Continuing Education is partnering with the One World Youth Arts Project at Georges Vanier SS to offer a studio music production credit, to TDSB students only, in summer school in July 2013.

Students enrolled in the program can earn a music credit (AMD3M or AMD4M) while working in the TDSB’s premier music creation and production facility at Georges Vanier SS.  The facility features a music production/keyboard lab, mixing/mastering suites, rehearsal space and fully equipped recording studios. Please refer to the attached information flyer for posting.

No prior experience is required – just a passion for music!  Students begin their journey in the music production lab and graduate to the mixing suites. Experienced students often begin their journey in the main recording/production studios.

The deadline is June 7. Space is limited to 20 spots. Online registration is not available for this program. Please fax completed summer school registration forms and questionnaires (attached) to Steve Lashbrook at 395-9373. Late submissions can’t be considered.

Applications will be reviewed by Studio Music staff who will contact applicants by June 21st.
