New volunteer opportunities are now available for those of you looking to fulfill your community service requirement.  This year's CNE is quickly approaching and they are looking for volunteers for their Friends of the CNE program to help with greeting guests, distributing pamphlets, answering questions and helping various departments at reception and functions throughout the grounds.  The CNE runs from August 15 - September 1st with three shifts available daily: 10am-2pm/ 1:30pm-5:30pm/ or 5pm-pm.  If interested go to www.theex.com and download the form.  Deadline is July 14, 2014.

Tutor on Wheels, a non-profit charitable organization that helps children, needs volunteers to act as pronouncers, judges, registration clerks, MCs, program assistants and tutors.  You will earn your hours, a certificate, gain professional development, scholarships and great references. For those of you looking for a job, Toronto Community Housing is hiring youth aged 14-29 for their Youthworx program to do light repair work, sign painting, gardening and clean-up projects in their communities. Hiring will be on a first come first serve basis during their two recruiting sessions on June 17th and 18th.
